These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of vyoorajewels.com and related websites operated by Vyoora Jewels India Pvt. Ltd. (“Vyoora Jewels”, “we”, “us” or “our”), and your purchase of products from us through our showroom or online channels. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. About us
Vyoora Jewels India Pvt. Ltd. is a private limited company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U47733WB2026PTC285734), with its registered office at Unique Pearl, F/N-1D, 1st Floor, Noapara, Hatiara, Kolkata, West Bengal – 700157, India. Our registration details are listed on our Certifications & Compliance page.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to buy from us. If you use our services on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Use of the website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with the website’s security or operation;
- use bots, scrapers or similar tools to copy content or prices without our written permission;
- submit false information, impersonate any person, or use the website to commit fraud; or
- upload or transmit malicious code, spam or unlawful content.
We may suspend access to the website for maintenance, security or legal reasons without notice.
4. Products and information
- We sell BIS hallmarked gold jewellery and certified gold coins and bars. Purity, gross weight, net gold weight and other specifications are stated on the product tag, certificate and invoice.
- Product photographs are for illustration. Actual colour, finish and size may vary slightly, and handcrafted pieces may show minor variations.
- Weights may vary within the tolerances permitted by the applicable BIS standards. Your invoice will state the actual weight of the item supplied.
- We try to keep all information accurate, but errors can occur. If we discover an error affecting your order, we will contact you before proceeding.
5. Pricing
The price of gold jewellery is calculated as: net gold weight × gold rate for that purity + making charges + charges for stones or other materials (if any) + GST at the applicable rate. Gold coins and bars are priced on the prevailing rate for their weight and purity, plus any minting, packaging and GST charges.
Gold rates change with market conditions, sometimes several times a day. The price that applies is the price shown at the time your order is confirmed (online) or billed (in store). All prices are in Indian Rupees and include an itemised breakdown on your invoice. If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or typographical error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid in full.
6. Orders
An order is accepted only when we confirm it. We may decline or cancel an order — and will refund any amount paid in full — where:
- the product is unavailable or there is a pricing or description error;
- required KYC documents are not provided or cannot be verified;
- we suspect fraud, an unauthorised transaction or a breach of law; or
- the delivery address is not serviceable.
We may limit the quantity of coins, bars or other items that can be bought per customer or per order.
7. Payments
- We accept payments through UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking, bank transfer and other methods shown at checkout or in store. Online payments are processed by regulated payment aggregators, subject to their terms.
- In line with the Income-tax law, we do not accept cash of ₹2 lakh or more from a person in a day, for a single transaction, or for transactions relating to one event or occasion.
- Payments must be made from an account or instrument in the buyer’s own name. We may refuse third-party payments.
- Ownership of goods passes to you only after we receive full payment.
8. KYC and legal compliance
We follow the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002 and the Income-tax law. We will ask for your PAN for transactions above ₹2 lakh and may ask for identity documents in other cases. See our KYC & Anti-Money Laundering Policy.
9. Delivery, cancellation, returns and buyback
Delivery, cancellation, return, refund, exchange and buyback are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy, Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy and Buyback & Exchange Policy, which form part of these Terms.
10. Hallmarking and certification
All gold jewellery we sell is hallmarked as required by the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold Artefacts Order, 2020 and carries a 6-digit HUID, which you can verify in the BIS CARE app. Gold coins and bars are supplied with a certificate of weight and purity. If you believe the purity of an item bought from us differs from its hallmark, please contact us — and you may also raise the matter with the Bureau of Indian Standards.
11. Digital gold
Our digital gold platform, when launched, will be governed by separate terms and conditions and risk disclosures, which you must accept before using it. Nothing on this website is an offer of digital gold.
